At the main menu, quickly press Triangle(2), Right, Circle, L1 or Circle(2), Right, Triangle, L1 to enable the EX Option. Use that option to set "Original Mode". Then, choose versus mode and have player one select both of his or her characters. Player two should then select the same two characters in the opposite order that player one used. Now start a game and press HP to switch teammates. The EX Option menu may also be used to keep the power meter full. Note: For the Japanese version of the game, at the main menu, quickly press Square(2), Right, X, L1 to activate the code.

Play as Gouki

At the character selection screen, highlight Magneto, Juggernaut, Dhalsim, or Vega and press Up.

Play as Street Fighter Alpha 2 version of Chun Li

At the character selection screen, highlight Chun Li. Then, hold Select for at least five seconds and press any button.

Play as Apocalypse

Select versus mode. Then, highlight Gouki, hold Select for at least five seconds and press any Punch button.

Random character selection

Highlight the left end of the character selection screen and press Left. Alternatively, highlight the right end of the character selection screen and press Right.

Original costume colors

When selecting a character, press LP or LK.

Continue attacking

After winning a match, press Start immediately to continue hitting the defeated character.

Reset game

Hold R1 + L1 + Select + Start.
