For saved games, 6 blocks need to be free on the memory card. Page 5 - Rule Explanantion The rules for Puyo Puyo are quite simple. I will briefly explain them here for first time players. 1) In order to clear the blobs from the screen you must connect 4 of the same color together vertically, horizontally or a combination of both. Diagonals do not count. 2) If the blobs reach the top of the screen, you loose. 3) When you clear a certain number of blobs from the screen, the other player is penalized with neutral blobs that can only be cleared when colored blobs next to them are cleared. 4) You can neutralize blobs sent to your side of the screen by using the method described in number 3 above. 5) Chain reactions cause more neutral blobs to be sent to the opponents side. Page 8 - Explanation of Symbols This small chart shows symbols that will appear at the top of the screen when the neutral blobs will be dropped. This is my first FAQ. I hope that it is useful. This is a partial manual and screen translation for the Puyo Puyon(Puyo Puyo 4) for Dreamcast. I am still learning how to read Japanese, so some of the translations may not be 100% accurate. I have included the japanese characters that were in the manual as well whenever possible. This will help those who would wish to follow along or want to keep track of what screen says what. Special thanks should go to the NJStar people and Jim Breen. I used the NJStar V4.2 to construct the FAQ and Jim Breen's Japanese-English, English-Japanese dictionaries for this Japanese kanji. There are 2 versions of the FAQ. 1 will be in ascii w/o the Japanese and the other will be straight ascii text. One day a man comes home from work to find total mayhem at home! The kids were outside still in their pajamas playing in the mud and muck. There were empty food boxes and wrappers all around. As he proceeded into the house, he found an even bigger mess. Dishes on the counter, dog food spilled on the floor, a broken glass under the table, and a small pile of sand by the back door. The family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing, and a lamp had been knocked over. He headed up the stairs, stepping over toys, to look for his wife. He was becoming worried that she may be ill, or that something had happened to her. He found her in the bedroom, still in bed with her pajamas on, reading a book. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?" She again smiled and answered, "You know everyday when you come home from work and ask me what I did today?" "Yes," was his reply. She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it!".
